Belangrijk te noteren is dat deze tandbladen een NIEUWE CATEGORIE zijn en dus niet gewoon een toevoeging van een andere kleur ( zoals bijv de grijze, champagne , rood enz ) Het zijn dus niet gewoon andere tandbladen voor SRAM en SHIMANO DM in ovaal maar een nieuw type tandblad in inderdaad verschillend kleur maar ook extra toegevoegde eigenschappen en een andere prijszetting.

1. Waarom een volledig nieuwe categorie ( en meer dan een nieuwe kleur )

We zijn altijd op zoek naar manieren om onze huidige producten te verbeteren en tegelijkertijd die ook mooier te maken. De nieuwe gebruikte PVD Titanium Regenboog coating is ontzettend hard en vertoond een uitermate lage weerstands coëfficiënt waardoor de duurzaamheid van het tandblad wordt verhoogt en terzelfdertijd een extra “ flair “ brengt. De coating die gebruikt wordt is gelijkaardig aan deze gebruikt in de Sram cassettes en kettingen.

Het produceren van tandbladen met dergelijke unieke coating is een heel delicaat proces en vereist een speciaal gebouwde ‘ clean room ‘ , volledig 100% propere tandbladen en uiteraard het proces om de aparte ‘ oilslick ‘ kleuren toe te passen in de juiste verhouding en ook in de juiste dikte. Omwille van deze verschillende extra stappen zijn deze tandbladen dan ook duurder, maar wanneer men het eindresultaat aanschouwt is dit meer dan de moeite waard!

We are always on the quest to improve our products and at the same time, make them look even better. The new addition to our portfolio is PVD Titanium Rainbow coating. The coating itself is extremely hard and exhibits very low friction coefficient making the chainring last longer and at the same time adding some flare to the look. It's a very similar coating to the one seen on Sram top of the range cassettes or chains.

But creating such coating on aluminium parts like chainrings is extremely tricky because the process itself requires a specially prepared "clean room" grade, spotless clean chainrings, and then proprietary process to get the colours right whilst having at the same time correct coating thickness. Because of all those challenges, such process costs considerably more than the anodizing, but we believe the look is worth the added cost.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the PVD process, every chainring is unique, and colour may vary. Not a single chainring is the same which makes your new chainring completely individual.
